Blacktown Arts Centre is offering free urban art workshops inspired by their current hip-hop exhibition It's Our Thing: More History on Australian Hip-Hop (Part II), which will result in a group piece. Kids aged six to 12 are invited to learn paste-up art techniques with street artist Tianna Vokac and work together to create a masterpiece. A free celebratory barbecue for family, friends and students is also offered on Tuesday July 11 upon completion of the entire artwork.
