Kids aged 6-16 years old can leap into this new series of parkour, gymnastics and acrobatics skills-based workshops down at Barangaroo Reserve. Local theatre company Legs On The Wall will use the Cutaway as a stage for their very own dynamic physical theatre work. The sprawling concrete space will transform into a pop-up jungle gym for kids to explore with some help from some of Australia's best acrobats and parkour artists. Each child participating will learn how to leap, climb and explore in a safe way.
Each two-hour workshop will explore creative physicality, using crash mats, ropes, climbing frames and more. Kids will also get to unleash their imagination by creating their own obstacle course. No prior acrobatic skill is required, with each workshop catering to all abilities across two hours. Parents can stick around and watch from a viewing area if they’d like, however supervision is not compulsory. There are three sessions daily – 9.30am (for ages 6-9 years); 12.30pm (for ages 10-12 years); and 3.30pm (for ages 13-16 years or open age 6-12 years).
