As a presenter on Play School, entertaining thousands of Aussie kids is part of his job description, and as a father of eight, there’s an even tougher audience waiting for him at home. As such, there’s probably noone more qualified than Jay Laga’aia when it comes to delighting children with song and play.
This December, he’s bringing a special Christmas show to the Opera House, performing with the Sydney Youth Orchestra and inviting audiences young and old for a great big sing-along. All the favourites will be played, including ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’, ‘Silent Night’, ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ and more.
It’s a relaxed show, with parents and children permitted to move around, make noise or come and go as necessary, minimising stress and maximising fun.
