You want your kids to grow up with awesome taste in music, right? Well, start their musical education at Kid Dub: an audio-visual performance and dance party travelling through decades of sound.
It’s a family-friendly version of the internationally renowned Hot Dub Time Machine, created by husband and wife team, Alexandra Plim and Tom Lowdes (aka Tom and Lu Lu Loud). Lu Lu takes the reigns at the DJ deck, spinning through hits from the '70s, '80s, '90s and noughties, teaching kids about the different musical eras and genres. There’s space for grown-ups on the dancefloor (let’s face it, this is your jam) and balloons, glow sticks and bubbles keeping the mosh pit colourful. The party starts June 7 at the Factory Theatre.
