Kids in the Garden

If your little scoundrels spend too much time in front of screens, get them out into the greenery these school holidays at this gardening workshop. Kids aged 5-12 are invited to Elizabeth Farm’s garden to explore the veggie patch, taste local honey and make a fresh iced tea before the whole family explores the museum on a kid-friendly tour. Spring is the perfect time to get gardening, but you’ll want to pack a hat, sunscreen, wet weather clothes and wear enclosed shoes to lessen your laundry load should rain bring muddy puddles.
