Lead by artist and designer Angela Paikea, kids can learn the basics of weaving with natural materials. They'll be guided through techniques and go home with wristbands, garlands and stars all made from the Blacktown Arts Centre's backyard natural grasses. A packed lunch is recommended for a little break in the weaving and bookings are essential as the free workshop is bound to fill up quickly.
