Got your own little Spielberg at home? Take the nippers out to a film festival made for – and by – kids.

Little Big Shots is now in its 13th year and it’s Australia’s only stand-alone kids’ film festival. It features the best in local and international shorts, animations and documentaries from over 20 different countries.

Mini movie fans can take their pick of eight different daytime programs held over the weekend of September 9 and 10. Each session is filled with bite-sized films, grouped by age, from toddlers to tweens.
