Don't forget to head to Martin Place for the launch of Sydney Christmas

[Sponsored] This year’s Martin Place concert kicks off at 6.30pm. Hosted by Seven News presenters Angie Asimus and Mark Ferguson, the concert is packed with entertainment the whole family will love.

Enjoy performances from Kate Miller-Heidke, Justice Crew, All Our Exes Live in Texas, Jay Laga’aia, Christine Anu and the Australian Girls Choir. Santa will arrive on a cycle-driven sleigh to light Sydney’s majestic Martin Place Christmas tree. Send your special Christmas message to the tree via and it will light up the branches for everyone to see. The concert ends with a fireworks display at 8.30pm, when the famous Martin Place Christmas Tree lights up for the first time this year. 

Santa show bags will be available for $5 all with proceeds going to the City of Sydney's charity partner, Variety – The Children’s Charity. The MLC Centre food court and GPO Grand restaurants, bars and pop-up dessert bar will be open for the duration of the concert, offering food and drink options.
