Spot, the character first created by British illustrator Eric Hill in 1980, is coming to life on stage thanks to Netherlands company Theater Terra. The children’s book star is one of the most loved pups in the world, and the 50-minute show has already proven to be a success in China, Japan and New York.
The musical adventure is aimed at children aged two years and up. In the show, Spot and his friends visit Spot’s dad Sam on the farm and meet the farm animals. But when they arrive all the animals are missing, presumed lost! It’s up to Spot and his friend Helen the hippopotamus to find them.
The show is travelling to the Concourse Concert Hall, the Seymour Centre and Riverside Theatre, Parramatta.
