Take the kids to the Maritime Museum these school holidays

This summer, the Maritime Museum is hosting a massive range of kids activities. They’re inspired by the family exhibition Voyage to the Deep: Underwater Adventures and range from torchlight tours to filmmaking workshops. There are events for children of all ages, as well as a special character tour for kids under five.

Head to Deep Sea Mystery for a day of underwater themed craft-making or Captain Nemo’s Nautilus for a quirky theatre performance inspired by 20,000 Leagues Under theSea. Learn about the work of the conservation group Ghostnets Australia at Weave the Reef or sign up for Spitting image – a two-day intensive course on how to use a digital SLR camera and photo editing skills.
