If you can’t seem to drag them away from a computer screen during the school holidays, perhaps you shouldn’t. Thinkspace at the Powerhouse Museum runs workshops in electronics, video-making, game design and Minecraft that’ll keep kids engaged and working both on and off the screen with other children.
New spring workshops include making wearable technology using fibre optics, creating video game controllers from scratch, YouTube 360 movie making and music making classes using Korg Little Bits. Workshop prices vary and most classes are suitable for ages seven and up.
