Darug elders and the local community around Rouse Hill House and Farm celebrate NAIDOC Week with a day of food, art, song, dance and language sharing in a day named for this year’s theme. Darug artist Leanne Watson will be running an art workshop on the day, there’ll be Darug language workshops held in the 1888 Rouse Hill School House and you can try your hand at making and throwing a boomerang. Here for a feed? Mad Mob and the Darcy St Project are providing the snacks and poet-singer-dancer Gumaroy Newman will liven up the farmyard with an afternoon performance.
