Time Out says

Speed-meet scientists, drive a Mars rover, escape into virtual reality and more

Launching Sydney Science Festival is a free night at the Museum for the curious. You can get creative with hands-on activities, tour exhibitions and chat with curators. It’ll be the first chance for visitors to see the This is a Voice exhibition and you can also visit The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes (though exhibition tickets must be purchased). You can put your questions to scientists, have a go at driving the Mars rover, tour the ongoing exhibitions like Recollect: Health and Medicine and Interface, plus there’ll be a telescope on the forecourt of the Powerhouse Museum for some stargazing.
