You can expect some thumping beats for this massive warehouse rave at Carriageworks. Curve Ball is one of Vivid’s biggest parties, offering a day-to-night experience of sound that’s matched in its vibrancy by the wall-to-wall visual installations. They make use of the industrial space by injecting light and video artwork across the room, through the mass of moving bodies on the dancefloor.
And the soundtrack has a dance music focus, so prepare for a good sweat. Artists making an appearance include hypnotic beat maker Touch Sensitive, ‘Something About You’ singer and producer Hayden James, young Brisbane-based talent Mallrat, retro electro DJ Young Franco and more.
