Time Out says

Los Angeles singer-songwriter Lorely Rodriguez, who’s known by her stage name Empress Of, will make a stop in Sydney to perform ahead of her appearance at Dark Mofo in Hobart this winter.

You can expect to hear melodies from her solo written album Me, featuring entrancing, pop-tinged hits like ‘Icon’ and the more bass and synth-heavy ‘Standard’. Her second album Us includes collaborations with the likes of Khalid, DJDS and MØ, and features lighter songs like ‘When I’m With Him’ and the playful yet longing ‘I Don’t Even Smoke Weed’.

See her mesmerising live performance at the Oxford Art Factory.
