Time Out says

Sydney’s on-air champions of local music is celebrating its 15th birthday with a three-stage festival of all-Aussie musicians

The indie broadcaster has been there for Sydney-made music since day dot, keeping to their promise to support Australian musicians as they break through to the mainstream and giving a platform to local arts and culture every day. In that 15 years since its first broadcast in 2003, FBi Radio has become a cultural institution and they’re celebrating that teenage milestone with a festival, fundraiser and birthday bash all in one.

The three-stage party at Manning House will feature exclusively Australian acts, headlined by Australian Music Prize winners Cloud Control, psychedelic punk-rock group Tropical Fuck Storm, hip hop powerhouse Sampa the Great and CC:DISCO!.

The line-up is a nod to the radio station’s history and their commitment to the industry. There will be performances by cosmic prog rock explosion and FBi favourite JAALA (pictured) and the unapologetic Brisbane rapper Miss Blanks, plus, Sydney femme-powered quartet Body Type, Western Sydney’s hip hop star Kwame, and metal band DISPOSSESSED, who sing in English and Gumbaynggirr.

Not forgetting FBi’s very own Andy Garvey and Adi Toohey, who’ll keep the party going, along with sets from Melbourne two-piece Divide & Dissolve, powerful techno magician Jensen Interceptor, Stereogamous, Heaps Gay DJs and many others.

Come show your support to the local heavyweights and the influential broadcaster.
