Woollahra's public house and dining room Hotel Centennial will be embracing the cooler weather with hot Sunday jazz sessions and Thursday evening piano nights.
All throughout winter the Hotel Centennial will welcome singer songwriter Emma Birdsall, who will serenade guests with jazz and blues renditions every Sunday afternoon. On Thursday evenings, up-and-coming musicians will perform on the Drawing Room's grand piano.
Executive chef Justin North has prepared a warming winter menu: highlights include his modern twist on chowder, slow-cooked beef and ale pie with potato purée, and a rotating Sunday roast. (Brunch is also available on weekends from 10am till noon.)
Add in mulled wine, Hot Toddys, warm buttered rum, spiced cider and a roaring fireplace, and you've got one of the cosiest nights out in Sydney on the cards.
