Time Out says

Two Australian contemporary music legends are coming together in two special performances at the Opera House forecourt

With a career spanning more than 20 years, John Butler is back with his long-time collaborators Grant Gerathy and Byron Luiters to bring their reggae, folk and bluesy tones back to the public after a four-year hiatus for the group. The six-time ARIA winners will deliver hits like ‘Zebra’ and ‘Better Than’ alongside their new album Home.

Since finding fame at the Triple J Unearthed Awards in 2001 with her hit ‘All For Believing’, Missy Higgins has been a pop music mainstay. She’s won multiple ARIA awards over the years, most notably for her album The Sound of White, and she has found success with four additional releases. This performance is off the back of a sold out tour of her most recent album, Solastaglia in May. Along with those newer tracks, fans will be delighted with the selection of famous singles like nostalgic ‘Scar’ and joyful ‘Steer’.

Perth folk-pop songstress Stella Donnelly, who is known for her feminist hit ‘Boys Will Be Boys’, will open the show.
