Time Out says

See out the last night of the summer break with a transcendent live show from the UK producer, DJ and classically trained pianist

On the last free day in the long summer break, British electronic producer Jon Hopkins will be lighting up the Concert Hall, transforming the Opera House’s main stage into a psychedelic rave for the intelligent electro crowd.

Float away on hypnotic multimedia visuals as Hopkins takes to the grand piano to bring us tracks from his latest Grammy Award-nominated album Singularity

The classically-trained pianist has collaborated with Imogen Heap, Brian Eno, Coldplay and King Creosote, and he’ll be cherry-picking the best of his ambient electronic career for the show, including songs from the Mercury Prize-nominated fourth album Immunity

Hopkins’ latest work is a meditative record inspired by his psychedelic and psychological experiences (all natural, he says). Call your boss and tell them you’ll be in by lunchtime on Monday.
