Californian deep house DJ Miguel Migs is playing an outdoor rooftop set at Café del Mar. The DJ, producer and founder of the Salted Music record label will be in town on Saturday November 4 as part of Café del Mar’s Sunset Sessions.
Migs’s soulful beats have a techno edge but remain undeniably chill: this is the kind of music we'll be listening to in space-age lounge bars. There’s strong rhythms present, but it’s more sway-your-hips than bang-your-head. In other words, perfect sunny afternoon cocktail by the water music.
From 7pm on Saturday, he’ll be conjuring tunes alongside a host of other DJs including Mark Dynamix, Beth Yen, Husky, Kate Monroe, Romy Black and Darren Giles. Pair the gig with one of Café del Mar’s food or drinks packages and you’ve got yourself an afternoon of rooftop relaxation.
