Time Out says

The world’s fastest piano player is going to perform the swiftest of melodies at the Sydney Opera House

Peter Bence is the current Guinness World Record holder for being the speediest piano player – he can hit 765 keys in just 60 seconds – and he’ll be showing Sydney his lightning-fast scales at the Opera House. But the 27-year-old pianist doesn’t just mash the pad: he’s a highly acclaimed musician who’s impressed audiences with covers of pop hits from Queen, Sia, the Beatles and Michael Jackson (his renditions of ‘Bad’ and ‘Smooth Criminal’ kicked off is ascent to YouTube fame) as well as his own compositions in original albums like The Awesome Piano.

He’s been bringing together the worlds of classical and popular music for four years, and in that time he’s toured more than 40 countries and charmed audiences from both musical camps. We’re excited to see it happen inside Sydney’s auspicious harbourside music and performance venue.
