It’s going to be a full stage of big sound from the Sydney rock duo

Why would you throw a five-piece horn ensemble onto the stage with a soul-thrashing guitar-drums duo? Just because. Sydney’s Polish Club is bringing some big-band feels to the Factory Theatre in July, mixing their frenzied retro-jams with jazzy brass bellows. This’ll add even more flavour to popular songs like ‘Gimme Money’ and from their huge EP Okie Dokie.

They’ll be joined on stage by another local group, folk-pop quartet All Our Exes Live in Texas, who’ll compliment the raucous performance with their soulful, country music harmonies. The Polish Club have also invited drummer JH’s dad to play his accordion with his pop cover band, Polka Dot. So you’ll get a side of Beyoncé and Bruno Mars with your trumpets and rock. What a mix.
