Some of Australia’s most talented young musicians will bring the classics to life in an afternoon performance at Parramatta’s Riverside Theatre. Combining strings, brass, wind and percussion instruments, these 12 Sydney Symphony Orchestra Fellows will take audiences to joyful heights and mournful lows with the Intimate Voices musical program.
Before listening to playful trumpets balanced with serene strings, you can mellow out with a tasting of the Blue Mountains’ Hillbilly Cider from 2pm. Your ticket also scores you a whole bottle to enjoy, with non-alcoholic options available.
Named for Jean Sibelius’ string quartet production, Intimate Voices will feature Wind Quintet, Heptade and two works by Arvo Pärt in a program led by artistic director Roger Benedict.
