If you braved the bone-snapping winds of last-Vivid's Repressed Records showcase in the Opera House forecourt you might have caught the headline set from Total Control and got a whiff of how revered they are by their fans. Playing for 25 minutes and following six other acts, Total Control whipped the crowd into a very un-Opera House frenzy. Returning this year, the band will be conjuring similar reactions no doubt, only this time they are indoors and testament to their genre-defying sound accompanied by a brass section. Supports from Tasmania's Native Cats, Sydney's own Greta Now and the new solo beats from Holy Balm's Jonathan Hochman under the moniker DJ Yoni.
