Time Out says

A whopper line-up of new and old music lords unite to raise funds for marriage equality

In this the season of music festival line-up reveals we are presented with a pretty golden one. For one night only you can watch a wildly popular indie band, two Oz rock from the Recovery-era reunion line-ups and a bevy of local genre spanning gems. The best part? They're all taking to the stage to promote and raise funds for the fight for marriage equality.

UNITY is a concert that not only advocates for the rights of same-sex partnerships but also a fundraiser, with 100 per cent of the ticket profits going to Australian Marriage Equality (AME). The generationally diverse musicians will all be performing for free and the raised dosh goes directly to aiding AME's ongoing Equality Campaign.

And, phwoar, what a line-up. See mini sets from The Jezabels, Killing Heidi and Frenzal Rhomb as well as an intimate song bundle from Sarah Blasko, Holly Throsby, Jack Colwell, Andy Bull, Mojo Juju and Lonelyspeck. Aside from being a great show with an enviable festival-savvy program, the UNITY event is a chance to show your support for the LGBTQIA community and their rights in the face of the governments most recent jabs at a plebiscite. Get in the mood for voting 'yes' with this Spotify playlist of all of the acts.
