It’s never too late to learn a new skill, or take your passion to the next level with a short course. That’s the ethos of the Conservatorium Open Academy, which runs entertaining and inspiring courses for adults hoping to pursue their creative interests.

This month, the Conservatorium is offering Time Out readers the chance to win a free short course (valued up to $495) during the winter term across a range of music disciplines, from sound recording in the home studio, to jazz or blues guitar to singing. A number of courses cater for beginners (including piano), so there’s never been a better time to delve into a world you’ve always wanted to be a part of. Classes are kept small to ensure that each student receives guidance to suit their needs, and courses run for approximately eight weeks.

To win a free short course, enter the name of the course you wish to attend by Tuesday July 11.

PLEASE NOTE: To make sure you fit the entry level requirements for the class you are interested in please check the website (minimum age is 16). Course must be during the winter term which starts week of July 17.
