Hot on the heels of the news of Susan Sarandon coming over to head the Tropfest jury, another A-list redhead has been announced as gracing our shores. Hollywood star Jessica Chastain will be attending a screening of her new movie Molly's Game at Event Cinemas George Street at 6pm on Tuesday, January 30 and taking part in a Q&A afterwards with host Angela Bishop.

Molly's Game is the true story of top skier turned Hollywood poker princess, Molly Bloom. The movie is the directorial debut of Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Social Network), so expect the sardonic dialogue to be zipping out of Chastain's mouth at a rate of knots. Chastain was Golden Globe nominated for the role, and may very well snap up an Oscar nomination.

We love Chastain because the characters she plays are so often ass kickers, from the woman who nailed Bin Laden (Zero Dark Thirty) to a Mafia princess gone legit (A Most Violent Year) to the incestuous, murderous fiend in Crimson Peak. Go Jess!

Tickets are just $21 and will be available at the Event Cinemas website soon.
