What’s your go-to dance move? Maybe you’re partial to an ‘80s Moonwalk or perhaps you prefer to get your groove on with some ‘70s YMCA action? How about letting loose with a Lindy Hop or why not go full flapper ala 1920? You’ll catch a glimpse of all these and more at the Sydney Fringe Festival's official closing night party, Dance All Night.
Staying true to the surprising, eclectic and downright experimental spirit of the Sydney Fringe, this decade-hopping event will feature a strange yet satisfying mix of floor-filling hits from the ‘80s, ‘70s, ‘40s and ‘20s. Each era will evoke its own, rich heritage, from the Prohibition speakeasy to Soul Train disco and even the '80s coming-of-age movie prom night you always wish you'd had.
Hosted by the City Tatts Club, this six-hour dance-a-thon makes good on its name, with the party running from 7pm until 3am. There will be both DJs and live bands on hand to get you into the swing of things, so throw on your dancing shoes and bust out some moves worthy of the ages.
