Kings Cross Hotel is throwing one hell of a Sunday session

Music touring and events company Picnic are known for throwing mega nightlife events and on Sunday they’re putting on their first music festival in the Cross, featuring Aussie DJs and producers as well as international electronic music artists.

From 2pm, you can dance to music from the likes of Joe Claussell, Veronica Vasicka and Dopplereffekt. Plus, Dip in the pool, Michal Turtle, Kuniyuki Takahashi, Tako, Jamie Tiller and Sleep D.

They’ll be taking over every level of the Kings Cross Hotel, from the dive bar all the way up to the rooftop. On top of the music program, Maurice Terzini (Icebergs/the Dolphin/BBPB) will be bringing his Ten Pieces Rude Boy Club to showcase artwork by George from Dreamcatcher, plus three drag shows from some of Sydney’s finest.

The entire event will be a mash-up of live music, DJs, performance and art installations. Locals on the bill include FBi Radio’s Adi Toohey, Andy Webb going back-to-back with Mike Who, Ken Oath Records Soundsystem, Simon Caldwell and many more.
