The Lansdowne is being taken over by this Sydney party crew for Vivid

If you’re all about a bit of ‘unce unce unce’ on the dancefloor and were pumping out house beats back in the mid-noughties, you’ll know Purple Sneakers. These party starters have been bringing huge nights of musical fun to Sydney venues for 13 years now, and to celebrate their teenagehood, they’re inviting Sydney to their thirteenth birthday party at the Lansdowne.

It’s the third time the group have organised a rave-type do for Vivid Sydney, and they’ll be going all in for the next event. They’re bringing 16 exciting new artists into the fray, with names like pop singer-songwriter Kota Banks, mystical house master Mickey Kojak, and Ebony Boadu, who’s responsible for the mixes you hear on Triple J’s House Party.

There’s no cover charge for this event, so you’ll want to be wearing comfy sneakers come June 15, ready race to be first at the doors.
