LuMi Bar & Dining and Balla join forces for this one-night-only dinner

Federico Zanellato of waterfront Italian eatery LuMi Bar & Dining will join Balla's Gabriele Taddeucci for this one-off collaborative Italian feast. The four-course menu will showcase both chef's Italian heritage, accompanied by matching wines and good times.

Start with shared antipasti, including wood-grilled polenta, milk braised salted cod and pressed pork terrine with house pickled veggies. Then move onto a Venetian-inspired squid ink risotto paired with a glass of orange wine. The main is coniglio ripieno, a traditonal Italian recipe of oven roasted rabbit, stuffed with zucchini flowers. Finish off with shared desserts included zuppa inglese (a layered custard and chocolate cake) and zabaione (an egg yolk custard made with cognac) served with zaeti biscuits.

The evening will showcase both chef’s extraordinary talents and skills, while celebrating authentic Italian food with an edge. The full four-course dinner (which includes wines) is $175 per person, and bookings are essential.
