Balla's head chef, Gabrielle Tadduecci, has created a new set lunch menu, which showcases the best in seasonal seafood.
Available Monday through Friday, this lunch special (one course for $29, and two courses $39) can be enjoyed while taking in Balla's panoramic views of the harbour and the city. Choose from gamberi fritti (that's lightly fried Hawkesbury River school prawns) with a tarragon and eschalot mayonnaise; scallop carpaccio with a bright saffron vinaigrette and radicchio; tagliatelle with slow-braised baby octopus; or the market fish of the day, which comes wood-grilled and with complementary sides.
Want to finish your lunch on a sweet note? Add on a dessert course for just $10. You can choose from pumpkin brûlée with amaretti biscuit or a pear tart with cinnamon-dusted mascarpone and rich chocolate liqueur.
