‘Tis the season and just in time for the holidays, Cucina Porto restaurant and executive chef Martino Pulito are giving diners the gift of a festive set menu and celebratory Italian dessert. The Italian eatery, along with the rest of The Star Sydney, is getting into the Christmas spirit with year-end festive menus and spontaneous frivolities.

Amid a convivial atmosphere, guests at Cucina Porto can add a dash of Italian flair to their seasonal merrymaking with the exclusive Pandoro Christmas Tree Millefoglie. Inspired by the seasonal sweet treats of Italy, Pulito’s dessert layers the traditional Italian pandoro Christmas cake with fresh summer berries, mascarpone and chocolate cream for a delectable festive treat. In its construction, Pulito draws on the Tuscan tradition of millefoglie, a layered puff pastry that is served at celebratory occasions such as weddings, birthdays and holidays.

The Pandoro Christmas Tree Millefoglie is just one of the many extravagant offers guests can expect at Cucina Porto and The Star Sydney in December as part of the restaurant’s festive set menu ($125). It includes dishes like salmone marinato, pesto gnocchetti and beef tagliata before ending the night with the exclusive dessert. And for an extra treat, book the Private Dining Room in December where, at the end of the meal, Pulito himself will dish up the exclusive dessert in a personalised tableside service.  

However you choose to enjoy them, Cucina Porto and the Pandoro Christmas Tree Millefoglie will add a little sparkle to your holiday celebrations this holiday season.
