Throughout February the Shangri-La's Lobby Lounge and Café Mix will be celebrating the year of the dog with a special Chinese fusion high tea and extensive buffet.
Renowned executive pastry chef Anna Polyviou will be injecting her creative flair into a sweet and savoury high tea from Fri Feb 16 to Sun Mar 4 that will celebrate the flavours of both Eastern and Western culture. Work your way from sumptuous roasted duck to black sesame spiked desserts, all set within the intimate surrounds of the Lobby Lounge for $55 per person.
Café Mix will be turning out an extensive buffet featuring honey-glazed barbecue pork, Beijing duck pancakes and claypot rice bowls. You'll also be able to design your own san choy bau and noodle dishes at interactive chef-manned stations. There will also be a vast selection of fresh seafood including oysters, lobsters and prawns and alongside piping hot bamboo steamers filled with dumplings. The buffet is available as a $65 per person lunch on Sat Feb 17 to Sun Feb 18 and Sat Feb 24 to Sun Feb 25, but if you want the full seafood spread you'll want to book in for the $85 per person dinner (available Feb 15- Feb 24).
