Communion Coffee

Redfern welcome's yet another coffee hotspot to the neighbourhood with Communion Coffee opening up on the same buzzy strip as Baffi & Mo, Tapeo Bakery and Roger's Shoe Repairs. But coffee is the drawcard at Communion. They're using White Horse beans from the famed Sutherland roastery and café and extracting potent shops of life-affirming espresso for your morning pick-me-up. The space is pared back to essentials but the warm wooden finishes keep it from feeling cold, and we're digging the throw back to the early thousands with Jack Jonson's Brushfire Fairytales on the stereo. They're a carb-friendly bunch so expect sweet pastries, ham and cheese croissants and toast with avo to fill the void and get you through to elevenses.
