Plan a date night to remember, with a three-course dinner backed by stunning sweeping views of Sydney Harbour. Ferris Wheel Dining is a special, one-off night out, where you and your partner watch the sun set over Sydney Harbour, all while enjoying a menu prepared by the Deck's executive chef Michael Roper. Focusing on seasonal produce, the three courses will also come with matching wines. You'll be served in your own private carriage, which will go on a journey as the ferris wheel spins round, unveiling panoramic views of the Harbour Bridge, blue waters and the CBD skyline.
On arrival you'll receive a surprise amuse-bouche, accompanied by a glass of sparkling Vouvray from the Loire Valley. Entrée will include freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters; foie gras tarte; and a scallop and tuna ceviche with avocado, crème fraiche and baby coriander. For the main event you can choose between twice cooked lamb shoulder, Merguez sausage, heirloom carrot and a caraway puree; or pan seared kingfish served with grilled crayfish, caramelised endives, karkalla vanilla and an orange emulsion. For dessert you can enjoy pistachio and strawberry dacquoise, raspberry gel and pistachio praline; decadent baked white chocolate with salted caramel ganache and glazed pineapple; or a coconut and passionfruit tart, served with soft meringue and fresh berries.
