Get your waffle on at Hotel Centennial
International Waffle Day is Fri Mar 25 (we’re not absolutely sure this is a real thing, but who the heck cares, it’s an excuse to eat waffles) and Hotel Centennial is celebrating it in the best way possible: with a splendid array of waffley goodness.
As well as the butterscotch waffles that were riotously popular at the previous incarnation of the Centennial Hotel, chef Justin North is adding two scrumptious new iterations to the menu. One is topped with house-smoked bacon and maple syrup with black pepper; the other has fresh figs, vanilla ice cream and tonka bean Chantilly. What's not to love?
