Sydney is a burger town. If someone is clamping a bun around a beef patty then we want to know what it tastes like. Of course, one can in fact have too many American-style burgers, which is why the new menu from Ribs and Burgers is giving burger fans something a little different. Starting on 9th May your burger will come with a distinct German accent. They're taking a lightly spiced beef patty, topping it with melted Swiss cheese, sharp pickles and a crunchy mustard coleslaw made with cabbage and apple. Bookending the filling is a burger bun like no other. We're talking pretzel dough baked into a round bun shape - expect that glossy, dark golden brown on the outside and a sweet, chewy interior keeping your burger together until the very last bite. Not digging the bun but keen on the European-inspired filling? You can also get a naked Bretzel.

If you fancy giving the Bretzel a roadtest, there's also a $100 voucher up for grabs when you sign up to the Ribs and Burgers mailing list. That's a lot of burgers - better phone a friend, or maybe five.
