This city noodle bar is wowing soup fans with crisp tempura and brilliant udon noodles

Bukkake. It's one of those things you probably shouldn't Google at work, even if you innocently want to learn more about the traditional Japanese method of pouring soup over udon noodles. You have been warned. At Menya Mappen, George Street's noodle bar and sister restaurant to Menya noodle bar (Chinatown and CBD), it's a bit of an adventure to get fed. It takes six steps from the moment you walk into the restaurant until you have your lunch in front of you (below). A large bowl of bukkake will set you back a mere $4.90 and you can choose between soba, udon and ramen noodles. Top with chopped green onion and tempura crumbs, then grab your choice of crisp tempura thingies under the heat lamps. No fear of soggy prawns or sweet potato chips here, soup noodle fans - Menya has such a large following, nothing remains stationary for long. They also sell miso soup for $1.50 a squeeze (literally - you push a little button and it squeezes out a dollop of miso followed by hot water). You'll be getting away clean and easy for under ten clams at Menya Mappen. It's the cheapest bukkake you're likely to ever come across.
