Paper Plane Café
Time Out says
Much like the MIA song of the same name, Paper Planes is a little offbeat but a reliable source of energy. This is mostly thanks to brews that they are tapping out from the Inner West’s much loved Little Marionette Coffee. The café’s soundtrack is a little random – one minute we’re listening to Alanis Morissette, the next Snakehips. There are Rhi Rhi and Drake tip jars, in which customers vote for a side with their gratuity. On the wall you’ll find the past week’s battles – Snapchat vs Instagram, One Direction vs Justin Bieber and summer vs winter (in which all of the latters won). Food here isn’t fancy but it’s decently priced. Try the kale and mushroom number, which sees a scramble of soft, buttery swiss brown mushrooms paired with crisp fried kale and feta.
