Got hollow legs? Surry Hills has the answer with Pizza Autentico: a pizzeria with a unique dining concept. You pay $25, and have 90 minutes in which to consume as much authentic Italian pizza and pasta as you'd like.
The communal dining table at Pizza Autentico will be laden with 30 styles of traditional thin-crust pizzas and eight pasta dishes. You’ll be taste-testing classic cheesy crusts like the simple prosciutto pizza with fior di latte and rocket, and carb-filled bowls of fresh ingredients like the housemade gnocchi in a creamy gorgonzola and pecorino sauce. The drinks list has a focus on Italian imports, and from 5.30-7pm you can order an appropriately matched beer or wine for $6 or a glass prosecco for $8.
This feasting experience can be private for groups of more than six diners, who can reserve tables in the modern upstairs space. And you can book the whole level for group celebrations, with an extended menu available for $35 per person.
