The new kid on the block in Cremorne can dish out some serious Vietnamese food
Upstairs in the 271 Military Road arcade lives Quan Viet, a Vietnamese eatery attracting a popular following. The small restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows, making it look somewhat like a translucent Vietnamese rice paper roll. Start your lunch or dinner with some real rice paper rolls filled with prawn, lettuce, mint and vermicelli noodles. Quan Viet seals the deal with classic Vietnamese dishes such as hearty beef pho, crunchy deep-fried spring rolls, crisp Vietnamese prawn pancakes and oh-so-soft, slow-cooked pork belly.
