Vietnamese cuisine is getting a fresh, modern makeover at Satio Casual Eatery. With an emphasis on simple and fresh produce, the culinary team create dishes that make a nod to their heritage while also creating complex, new and exciting flavours.
Satio Casual Eatery takes traditional Vietnamese, Pacific Island and South East Asian dishes and jazz them up with some Satio style. Think green tea smoked duck, Satio spiced chicken or pork belly sliders, wok-seared shaken beef, and roll-your-own rice paper rolls with chicken, lemongrass pork or beef.
Owner Jackie Fong began her culinary career in Ho Chi Minh City, where she learned her craft from her mother, cooking at their family eatery located in the bustling Ben Thanh Markets. Since moving to Sydney a decade ago Fong worked in the beauty industry and now has returned to her family roots, opening Satio Casual Eatery.

DO NOT EAT HERE! THE HYGIENE OF THIS PLACE IS QUESTIONABLE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS!
My girlfriend spat out a baby cockroach from her mouth after attempting to drink her sugar cane juice (the cockroach was blocking the liquid in the straw). We understand that these things can happen sometimes, however what surprised us was the sheer lack of ownership they had of the situation. No apology or compensation was offered. They became defensive and said we can't find where the cockroach came as opposed to dealing with the fact that their customer almost consumed a cockroach from their meal! I normally don't write reviews, but the atrocious customer service we received after such an unhygienic incident, felt like others needed to be warned.
Best food I have ever tasted. Had the chicken laska, tasted amazing, huge portions, very fresh and delicious! Also tried the sticky rice and pork entree, and the slow cooked beef and bread which were an unusual mix but tasted amazing.
