In this economy, we’ll take all the rewards points and bonuses we can get – especially when it affords little luxuries like eating out. DoorDash is stepping beyond the realm of home takeaway with their app’s ‘Reservations’ feature.

Now, you can book a table at some of the top Sydney restaurants in the DoorDash app and score credits for doing it. Plus you’ll get exclusive access to highly coveted reservation times and tables with DashPass. To top things off, DoorDash is offering $10 in credits back after you attend a reservation made in the app, or $12 if you’re a DashPass member. Sweet as!

Here’s some restaurant inspo to start saving. You can download the DoorDash app here.

Attenzione Food & Wine Redfern

Walking into Attenzione feels like stepping into a happening party you’re glad your cool friend brought you to. The split dining room features a golden-mustard room at the front, decked out with dark furniture, a mirror splashback and retro-looking chandelier. The by-the-glass-list reads tongue-in-cheek – helpful tasting quips include, but aren’t limited to: “holy hat” and calling a Piemonte rosé a little inappropriate. Dig your fork into rustic Italian classics like crunchy pork cotoletta, southern calamari, and paccheri pasta.

Bar Julius

Wunderlich Lane is Sydney’s latest bustling dining and drinks destination, and it’s home to dreamy warm-hued hotel The Eve. Tucked right inside, you’ll find Bar Julius –  a 100-seat European-style restaurant and bar that’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bloody Mary, anyone? Want breakfast early? Sure thing – order the pork hock toast soldiers with free range dippy eggs. What about a frosty midday Martini and fries? Yep, that too. Coffee after 3pm? You bet. Late-night vino with a cracking hot dog? It’s got your name on it.

Lottie

Head another level up in The Eve and you’ll find a little slice of Cancun on the hotel’s rooftop. Lottie is a sun-drenched dream dishing up mezcal, masa and Margaritas by the plenty. Guadalajara-born head chef Joe Valero (ex Tacos Tacos Tacos) runs a gluten-free menu that threads together Mexican influence and local Australian produce. Braised kangaroo meets fried masa. WA-native Geraldton wax takes a ride on a tuna tostada.
