Time Out says

From the husband and wife team Michael Bengtsson and Julia Walker-Bengtsson comes Vino e Cucina, another jewel in the dining crown of Five Ways Paddington.

The restaurant is created in the style of an Italian trattoria, a semi-casual eatery where patrons can relax and enjoy a glass of wine and a bowl of pasta in peace. Diners can sit within the gorgeous dining room or relax either under the terrace or at one one of the alfresco tables out the front.

The main menu features classic Italian dishes including a selection of smoked and cured meats, caprese and a ragu which is served on top of fresh, hand-cut pappardelle.

The pizza menu is just as impressive, with a focus on old school quality. The greatest hits are all represented and the sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes. Accept no substitutes. There’s even a pizzaiolo (someone who exclusively makes pizzas) on hand every Monday night for ‘Mad Pizza Mondays’, manning the Italian deck pizza oven.

Dishes are best served with a glass of quality wine or a sampling of the homemade limoncello, an Italian classic.
