The Coastrek adventure hike is an opportunity to fundraise for charity and have a fun day out with friends along the way. This time around, Coastrek aims to raise $2.8 million towards restoring sight in the world’s poorest nations by training local eye doctors for the Fred Hollows Foundation.
Participants can choose between a 30km or 60km route. The ten-hour hike begins in Manly or Kirribilli and passes the bays, hidden bush trails and historic sites of the Sydney coastline to Bondi Beach. In the lead up to the big day, trekkers will be supported by a 12-week training plan and the team at Wild Women on Top.
You can join the 23 thousand people who have trekked before and organise a team of four people with at least half the team identifying as female.
