Time Out says

This is an exciting opportunity for all you Mighty Ducks fans and devotees of the game of ice hockey. This ice hockey tour is a series of friendly games between stars of the Canadian and American leagues that’s making its way down the east coast of Australia.

It’s your chance to see ice hockey defenceman Jake Kulevich and current Wheeling Nailers defender Johnny Austin strut their stuff on the ice. Captaining team Canada will be current Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Philadelphia Flyers prospect Nicolas Aubé-Kubel, with coaching support of Reid Simpson, who’s a former pro and now a lead scout for the Montreal Canadiens.

Those in the stands at the International Convention Centre – which is getting an icy make-over just for the tour – will get to witness some high-caliber competition, and also get some insight into the effects of concussion. The aim of the tour is to raise awareness for US not-for-profit StopConcussions Foundation, alongside Brain Injury Australia and Shoot For a Cure.
