Manly Surf Guide

Run by a passionate local surfer, this school offers a choice of single lessons, courses, day tours and camping trips. $50 will get you a two-hour group lesson at Dee Why (about 10 minutes’ drive north of Manly) or you can get a 1.5-hour private lesson for $110. Go for the full experience with the One-Day Beginner’s Surf Adventure: a small-group tour of excellent learning beaches with lunch, gear and 4 hours of surfing.
