Time Out says

Toast the Wimbledon finals with a sordid sporty mix of gin, dancing, and strawberries and cream

Dig out your tennis whites for a civilised afternoon soirée of tennis and cocktails, and give a double racket salute to the Wimbledon competitors as the beloved competition draws to a close. Social Serve is the ultimate excuse to combine sweaty sport and booze to keep your bones warm on the court. It’s a recipe for good times and bad tennis, and with Wimbledon already underway (the very final matches are on July 14), it’s a great opportunity to will your favourite player to a successful set.

This charity social raises money to provide access to sport for people with disability through the Primary Club. You can buy a spectator ticket for $19, which gets you entry to the Rose Bay tennis club party, or you can enter the event as a player for $39. Both options include a cocktail or booze-free beverage for each guest on arrival.

All matches are mixed doubles, so you can either pick your own partner or enter as an individual and be paired up on the day. It's all about having a hit and hitting it off with new friends, so don't worry if you're a total tennis beginner.

On the sidelines there'll be food, drinks and music. Those going for gold in their traditional Wimbledon whites should arrive from midday to stretch out and enjoy a welcome drink before the matches start at 1pm. Those happy to spend the afternoon winking at the DJ can arrive at any time. The very proper English after party will begin at 7pm.
