Time Out says

Make sure you catch the Wallabies' first game in Australia in more than 40 weeks

It doesn’t get much bigger than this. Join fellow rugby fans in a sea of green and gold at the highly anticipated Wallabies vs Argentina championship match at CommBank Stadium on Saturday, July 15 at 7.45pm. This is not only the Wallabies' first game on home turf for the year, but your only chance to see the team play in Sydney in 2023, before they head to France in September for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The Wallabies played two sold-out games in Sydney last year, so we'd recommend getting in quick. Arrive early to soak up the buzzing pre-game stadium atmosphere, before you’re swept away by the contagious passion and boundless energy of the South American side.

The stakes are even higher for this second game in the eToro Rugby Championships, as it is the first time for Eddie Jones back as Wallabies coach to face off against his former Randwick teammate and current Pumas boss, Michael Cheika.

Wallabies Coach Eddie Jones said: "To be able to play in Sydney against the Pumas is going to be a great hit-out and then you've got the MCG which is one of the most iconic stadiums in the world with 100,000 Wallabies supporters there cheering us on.

"There's plenty to be done between now and then but I can't wait to bring the team together and get to work."

It’s not just about the game though – this is a celebration of rugby’s fervent community with fan activations, captivating entertainment, pop-up food, drinks and more.

Grab your green and gold and book tickets for the 2023 Rugby Championships with tickets from just $20.
